For the 2014 European election the EUobserver gathered a team of journalists from all over Europe to address the concern about extremism and other shared concerns. In Romania journalists addressed racism, corruption and nepotism, in Sweden the influence of the far right was investigated. A regional cross border comparative was included investigating voting fraud in Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia. But how to gather such a team, and how to coordinate stringent election coverage?
